YOUTH TREATMENT COORDINATOR/CLINICIAN REPORTING/COORDINATING RELATIONSHIP: Coordinator of Children’s Services SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: YTC Responsibilities: Responsible for outreach, education, and awareness to Center staff and community based partners i.e.; Administrative Office of the Courts, DJJ, CDW, DCBS, FAIR Teams, Schools and other related Substance Use treatment programs. Target the needs of youth and adolescents with or at risk of substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. Assist community partners in identifying and referring youth and adolescents with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. Conduct collaboration with community partners for knowledge of resources available to clients. Oversee the development and continuum of evidenced-based and developmentally-appropriate services and supports within the Center for youth with or at risk for substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders Attend all necessary meetings and trainings related to the position. Conduct trainings as necessary for Center staff working with youth/adolescents with substance abuse disorders and co-occurring disorders. Support, collaborate, and assist staff working with youth/adolescents with substance abuse disorders and co-occurring disorders. Including, but not limited to identification, screening, making appropriate referrals for services, training, and clinical collaboration. Conduct individual, family, and group therapy for clients. Travel is expected throughout the region. Other duties as required. Clinician duties include: (1) Provide intake, screening, referral, and crisis intervention services. May be required to participate in after-hours on-call. (2) Conduct individual, family, and group therapy for clients. (3) Participate in staff conferences. (4) Prepare psychosocial evaluations and individual treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives in a timely manner. (5) Provide consultation and education in the community and with community agencies including courts and physicians. (7) Develop an active practice that will generate income for the Pennyroyal Center. (8) Keeping all documentation and utilization reviews up to date per the Pennyroyal Center's Policies and Procedures. (9) Provide timely feedback to all referral sources such as schools, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, family practice physicians, DCBS, court systems, and others as a collaborative care measure. (10) Attend required clinical and administrative meetings. (11) Maintain license to practice and obtain necessary CEUs per the Pennyroyal Center's educational objectives/plan. (12) Attend assigned supervisory sessions. (13) Clinician may be required to work an altered schedule and provide clinical services one or two evenings per week. (14) Travel to all clinics will be required based on client and Center needs. (15) Other duties as required MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of Master's degree in social work, psychology, professional counseling, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited university and appropriate credentials for practice in Kentucky. Prior experience in Substance Use Disorders, Parenting Education, Basic knowledge and experience with Adverse Childhood experiences (ACE) and the effect on children, adults and the family unit. Basic knowledge of addiction and family systems is required. No evidence of past malpractice claims or any State Board sanctions. Must pass a legally required Criminal Record Check and a Sexual Offender Registry check. Must pass a Child Abuse and Neglect registry check. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and present proof of automobile insurance.
