Young People’s Substance Use Worker
Salary: £25, 878 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term until end of March 2024

This is an excellent opportunity to join Here4YOUth Dudley as a young people’s substance use worker to cover maternity leave until the end of March 2024.
Here4YOUth Dudley provides a range of services for young people who are using drugs or alcohol and support their emotional health and wellbeing. Our skilled and compassionate team work closely with young people and their families to change and save lives. We combine proven expertise in treatment and recovery with innovative approaches and actively involve those we help in improving the design of the services we provide.
You will be responsible for delivering a good quality and safe service to the people you support including outreach, creative engagement, assessment, case load management, group work, harm reduction and psychosocial interventions. If you are someone who enjoys working in the community and problem solving to help people change their lives for the better, this role’s right for you. The most important thing you’ll bring to this role is your desire and ability to make a positive difference to people’s lives.
Our staff teams are motivated and committed to delivering a quality service to residents of Dudley and we are looking for likeminded individuals to join us. You will have good Microsoft office skills and be able to manage your own diary efficiently and proactively. You will have integrity, enthusiasm, and a passion to make a difference.
The core service operates Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. You will need to provide cover for open access on Wednesdays till 7.00pm.
