We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Year 4 SEN Teacher to join a lovely SEN primary school in King's Lynn, Norfolk. The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher with a passion for teaching and working with children with special educational needs. Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering effective and engaging lessons for Year 4 SEN students
- Supporting students with a range of learning needs
- Working closely with other teachers, SENCO, and teaching assistants to provide the best possible learning experience for all students
- Conducting assessments and tracking student progress to inform future planning and interventions
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers, communicating regularly about student progress and any concerns
- Implementing and following individual education plans for each student in line with the school's SEN policy
- Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities to improve teaching practice and support student needs.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with PGCE
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a primary school setting
- Strong knowledge and understanding of a range of SEN conditions and interventions
- Ability to plan and deliver effective and engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to adapt to the changing needs of students and the school
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
