BAFTA is looking for a talented Human Resources Business Partner to join its busy HR team
Job purpose
This role will collaborate across the organisation to deliver value-added service for people based in the UK. You will be part of a small but effective team and will support all UK based functions including BAFTA 195 Piccadilly, (hospitality business) BAFTA media technology, (BMT - technical business BAFTA albert (industry sustainability) and the core BAFTA charitable operations across the UK offices in London, Cardiff and Glasgow. This role will be highly autonomous and impactful.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Provide accurate HR advice to employees and managers based on UK employment law and best HR practice
Ensure HR policies are progressive, modern and attractive
Facilitate positive employee relations through development of employee management strategies.
Collaborate with managers and leaders on career development and growth initiatives, including succession planning and talent retention
Coach employees & managers on career growth and development
Manage the annual launch of the goal setting cycle, quarterly career conversations, and end of year appraisals
Define learning strategies and programs.
Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
Analyse HR data: on boarding, off boarding, engagement, performance, talent, DEI, identifying workforce trends that can drive positive organisational culture.
Provide HR reports & presentations to senior management teams as required.
Ideally you will have:
Extensive HR experience, ideally across; talent discussions, learning & development, engagement, org development, efficiency and effectiveness, communication, wellbeing, inclusion and culture.
Experience in working with employee groups to develop culture by driving DE&I initiatives to enable an inclusive and collaborative culture
A proven track record of developing and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders
The ability to assess and anticipate the needs of managers and employees and feed back into the wider HR Strategy for change
Experience of aligning a HR strategy with organisational priorities and agree on suitable solutions, managing escalations, legal issues and compliance
The ability to advise on legislation changes, best practice and deliver progressive modern people policies
Experience of devising, implementing and delivering SLAs and KPIs · using this data to develop insights and make recommendations for relevant HR programme solutions and initiatives
Project management experience
