Creative Writer – Sydney
Unleash your creativity! If you’re ready to grow your writing skills with an experienced team of writers and producers from across Canada, we have an opening for a Creative Writer. Stingray - a leading global music, media and technology force - has an immediate opening for a full-time Creative Writer. We are seeking applicants for a position based in Sydney N.S., but we welcome candidates from any location where Stingray Radio has an office.
What you will do:
- Write commercials, sponsorship tags, specs, and station promos in a variety of styles
- Work closely and brainstorm with production, programming, sales, and our clients
- Provide superior customer service
- Schedule commercials using the Wide Orbit Traffic Software
- Streamline projects via Radio Workflow
- Collaborate in Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
- Contribute to the local, regional, and national Creative Team

- Organized with great attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office products
- Experience working in a collaborative environment (virtually and in-person)
