Job description
We are working with a well-established engineering business in Braintree that due to growth, is looking to recruit a number of additional roles.
It has a large regular order book, but also undertakes regular bespoke architectuaral projects for clients. In the past, they have also done one-off projects including the Cenotaph War Memorial in London.
They are looking to recruit a Workshop Operative who will be responsible for the general labour of the site.
The organisation has ambitious plans to grow its production over the new few years, so there will be plenty of scope for career development and is happy to support any personal development/training required to do this.
The successful candidate will ideally have labouring experience in a workshop and have a counterbalance fork truck license.
They are prepared to pay a salary of £21,400, however, this is being reviewed with the new financial year with an expected 10% payrise.
The company also pays an attendance bonus of £2k pa and usually awards a profit-related bonus of £1k pa. £31,450 is achievable with all the bonuses and 10 hours overtime per week.
