Job description
Hunter Stoves Ltd are looking for a 'Workshop Operative' at our manufacturing site in Camelford.
As part of the workshop team your duties will be to competently fold sheet metal components using our Amada HFE 3I press brake folding machine. Experience using a similar machine or experience working with sheet metal would be an advantage as would some computer skills but training will be provided. An eye for detail is a must to ensure the quality of our wood burning stoves is upheld and you will need to be able to work both as part of a team and independently.
Requirements
- Attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Experience of reading engineering drawings desirable.
- Experience of hand tools desirable.
At times you may be required to assist in other areas of the workshop with clinch studding and sheet metal rolling. You will need to have a hands on, can do attitude and be able to work to deadlines but we are a small, friendly team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our engineering development team within a well established company contributing to new products.
