This role will be a great fit for you if:
- You ideally possess industry qualifications achieved to a minimum of Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or mechanical engineering. This is not compulsory for the right candidate.
- You have previous working experience in a workshop environment
- You have previous working experience in a managerial role

Your Role
The key purpose of the role is to control the flow of work through the workshop, to maximise its utilisation and ensure technicians are working efficiently and safely. To meet and exceed customer expectations, whilst ensuring all company policies and procedures are always adhered to.
- Plan and manage the maintenance and servicing of the fleet, ensuring vehicles comply with all statutory regulations.
- Maintain equipment, ensuing all external contract maintenance is carried out in line with contractual agreements.
- Managing the maintenance and reliability of the machinery and infrastructure.
- Induction of new employees.
- Quality checking.
- Maintain procedures for the workshop.
- Supervising the maintenance of vehicles in workshop.
- Negotiating with suppliers and parts department.
