We’re recruiting now for a Workshop Manager in Peterborough cluster. Cluster sites include Peterborough, Huntington and Boston workshops.
The role of the Workshop Manager is critical in the delivery of Fleet performance and for meeting the requirements of the Operator in the most efficient and cost effective way.
You will play a pivotal role in the delivery of cultural change and be accountable for the performance of their Workshop(s) in the designated geographical area, with specific accountability for delivering performance against all key Maintenance scorecard indicators, including, Safety, Legal, Cost, People and Stakeholder performance measures.

Meeting the requirements of the Operator in the most efficient and cost effective way.
You will be accountable for the performance of the Workshop with specific accountability for delivering performance against all key Maintenance scorecard indicators including, Safety, Legal, Cost, People and Stakeholder performance measures.
Actively deploy, manage and support the maintenance of ISO 9001 quality standard within Fleet Workshops and support Continuous Improvement activity within the Workshops.
You will be accountable for compliance to both legal and RM safety policies and meeting safety targets.
Does this sound like you? Then you'll need to have:
- Experience managing wider teams and coaching teams through change
- Knowledge of maintenance compliance requirements for vehicles and road transport O’Licence legislation
- IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle maintenance and repair (or equivalent)
- Industry knowledge of dispersed maintenance operations
- High degree of flexibility to ensure effective cover across multiple shift operations
- Experience in effectively managing and build relations with stakeholders
- Experience in influencing and delivering results through people
- Experience in managing and building relations with Trade Union partners
- Full driving licence
