About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for you to support our Life and Health Underwriting Research & Development team at Swiss Re on the topics of health behaviour change and digital tool design and adoption. For someone new to insurance as most interns would be, may be best to talk about "digital insurance applications (known as underwriting tools)".
Upon joining our team, you will have the chance to use your behavioural science knowledge while working on two projects:
Project 1
You would collaborate closely with the Health and Wellness Team to conduct literature reviews and analysis on wellness app engagement and outcomes. Identify best practices and develop frameworks and tools to aid clients in the deployment of wellness apps to deliver sustained change in people's health behaviour.
Project 2
On this project you would be working alongside the Underwriting Tools team to advise on behavioural change strategies to improve adoption of new technical software for insurance professionals tools and improve user experience for Swiss Re's underwriters.
You'll work with an international team to shape the health & wellness offerings for insurance customers, helping people live longer and healthier lives and get more the Life & Health insurance coverage they need. Behavioural Science in action, for good!
Key responsibilities:
Undertake literature reviews, analysis of best practices both in academia and in industry
Use knowledge of behavioural science theory and application to distil information into actionable and practical recommendations
Input into Health and Wellness strategy and work with the tools teams to implement changes and effectively deliver change strategies
Design clear and engaging presentations of results and recommendations
About you
Degree/advanced degree in Behavioural Sciences, psychology, or social sciences
Interested in Health and Wellness, UX/UI and digital engagement
Experienced in quantitative/qualitative data analysis
Solution oriented
Proficiency with Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Excel; PowerBI is an advantage
Excellent communication and writing skills, fluent in English, additional languages advantageous
Strong interpersonal skills - comfortable collaborating with a global team and able to maintain working relationships inside/outside our company
Comfortable with hybrid working (in office and virtually)
The chosen candidate will be granted 10 weeks-long paid Summer Internship starting from 26th of June.
