The Role

The Role:

Our nationwide Lifting division hires a range of equipment including hoists, slings and winches to companies within the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors.

As our Workshop Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the division. You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining Lifting Equipment to a high standard within the GAP fleet, ensuring that our customers can hire what they want, when they need it.

About You

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience working as an engineer/fitter with a relevant mechanical qualification or be time served
  • Sound and current knowledge of servicing and maintaining lifting equipment is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • A customer-focussed approach and committed team player
