The Workplace Design Manager will develop and implement the design for physical environments, ensuring that the client and people experience is embedded into the space. They will engage with key stakeholders across the firm to ensure all workspace solutions align to the firm’s workplace vision and meet operational requirements.

We’re looking for a creative self-starter who has experience managing a variety of stakeholders to bring our physical space to life in compelling ways that engages both internal and external audiences. A background in or comprehensive understanding of interior design, FF&E and brand is imperative to the success of this role.

The role will involve managing the design and content elements of our Real Estate projects, working alongside internal teams and external suppliers to ensure solutions are to a Deloitte standard. The role will also involve developing and managing the Workplace Design Standards Guide. Essential qualities include the ability to manage external suppliers, high standard of design, technical alignment to designs, and development of workplace principles working alongside the Technology, Brand and Workplace teams.

  • Responsibility for managing the FF&E and Brand Workstreams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Alignment with Deloitte Brand guidelines.
  • Establishing the brief with key stakeholders.
  • Responding to the brief with concept designs, creative ideas, and high-level cost analysis.
  • FF&E and Brand Programme development and management.
  • Creation of presentations detailing concepts, in alignment with brand and the FF&E strategy and guidelines.
  • Supply chain engagement and management for both FFE & Brand.
  • Tendering and package negotiation alongside Deloitte Procurement teams.
  • Creation and presentation of Stakeholder sign off documents.
  • Creation and presentation of Steering Group design packs.
  • Responsible for gaining sign-off of FF&E and Branding packages across all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • FF&E and Brand Project Cost Management throughout the project cycle.
  • Reporting competency to PMO throughout the project cycle.
  • Coordination with other client workstreams – Workplace Strategy, Workplace Services, Technology, Change and Comms, Security, PMO, Cost Consultants, Architects, Main Contractors.
  • Delivery and Installation sequencing and implementation – FF&E & Brand.
  • Sign-off of FF&E and Brand packages on completion of implementations.
  • Transition of FF&E into operational support.
  • Understanding of Workplace Trends, Materiality, Sustainability, Innovation, and Supply Chain procurement and manufacturing.
