Workplace Analyst:
The WP Analyst role supports the Workplace Solutions Strategy & Planning Team in developing location, property and lease business cases and plans to deliver the property requirements of the Business Units.
Strategy & Planning Analyst will undertake business requirements capture, financial and non-financial modelling and data analysis and support the team in the assessment of business data and development of information to inform and execute strategic decisions. Including the execution of associated agreements with third parties and achieving internal approvals.
Key Responsibilities for this role:
- Collection, analysis and documentation of business requirements across varied business teams and locations
- Liaison with individuals from relevant teams within the business and Workplace Solutions to gather and interpret data to support the development of options and projects to meet property requirements
- Input the gathered requirements and data into appropriate financial and non-financial models for analysis and development of recommendations
- Support the formulation of recommendations based on data analysis. Write up recommendations into appropriate presentation format for business consultation and decision making
- Development and ongoing maintenance of regular trackers for reporting status / wider MI to the business and Workplace Solutions leadership team (on both a local UK and Global scale)
- Maintenance of an up-to-date knowledge of systems which may be of use for the analysis, governance and modelling of data
- Development and upkeep of solutions to protect access to lease and property portfolio data on third party systems
- Co-ordination of inputs / instructions from business customers, different parts of Workplace Solutions and Service Providers (inc. managed office providers, third party property agents and advisors)
- Drafting of simple approvals documents (e.g. for service offices) to obtain business sign off to expenditure
- Set up of the right document management solution for approvals documents and improved work flow for obtaining approvals and sending completed documents to finance team / lease administrator / other stakeholders
- Production of Excel templates to document more forward looking strategy and planning models
- Help to standardise processes and workflows
- Provide other ad hoc reporting and analysis
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Ideally possesses a business-related degree or working to an equivalent
- Relevant professional qualification or experience
- Proven experience in performing data analysis and analytical problem solving
- Experience in reporting data based findings to the mid-level within a corporate organisation
