Description:
You will support the Head of Learning and Education to deliver our workforce priorities within the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Workforce Strategy and contribute to strategic and operational planning of the Workforce Employability Service. The work is varied, stimulating and rewarding and offers an opportunity to develop innovative ways of supporting people to enter the NHS workforce.
Demonstrating successful leadership and programme management you will lead the Workforce Employability Team to deliver programmes supporting apprenticeships, preparation for employment and careers initiatives with pathways connecting to employment opportunities within NHSGGC.
Your experience will have been with a large organisation managing multiple projects supporting all under-represented groups in our communities and you will be able to demonstrate in depth knowledge in the context of national frameworks such as the Young Person’s Guarantee and how they align and support the needs of the NHS workforce. Your engagement skills will be evident in your ability to develop strong relationships with employability partners and a range of key stakeholders across disciplines and sectors. Your specialist advice to our senior managers and their teams will guide them on the development and implementation of local and national employability initiatives.
