We are now welcoming applications for a Workplace coordinator to join us on a , part-time, term time only (+2 weeks) basis. In this role you would co-ordinate work placements and processes for students by liaising with staff, partners and students to ultimately ensure all students receive their study programme entitlement. Implementing processes and procedures so that opportunities for students to participate in external work experience placements are maximised, you can expect to be arranging work experience for all students in accordance with course specific requirements and liaising with course teams to identify work experience requirements and discuss opportunities. Identifying and visiting organisations to secure quality work experience opportunities is key, you must implement monitoring arrangements for all aspects of student placements and oversee student compliance with DBS completion and Health & Safety procedures. With the ability to maintain accurate records and complete documentation to a high standard, you will have an understanding of national and local developments in relation to work experience and employability skills and have experience of delivering services to meet targets, outputs, deadlines and quality standards. Experience gained within an education or training environment is desirable, however, you must have excellent communication skills to communicate with employers to match needs and skills. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must have a full UK driving licence, relevant business insurance and access to their own vehicle.
