
Work-based Education Development Manager Nantgarw, Wales
Job description
We currently have an exciting vacancy for a band 8a Work based Development Programme Manager. This is a national role leading on the development of new and the review of existing accredited work-based learning (Levels 2 to 7) for all healthcare staff. The person appointed will work within the Education, Commissioning and Quality team to oversee the identification of work-based education and training gaps across NHS Wales. The post-holder will lead the development and review of new and existing qualifications, ensuring that the accredited education meets the future care and support needs of the population of Wales.
The successful applicant will have experience of developing and implementing work-based learning and education and have a sound knowledge and understanding of both face to face and virtual education development and delivery. A significant aspect of this role, the post-holder is to work in partnership with a range of stakeholders including, NHS Wales organisations, and Social Care Wales.
