West Midland Safari Park are currently recruiting for Keepers to join our Carnivore, Ungulate and Discovery Trail teams.
This exciting role requires candidates who can maintain high animal husbandry standards, such as feeding, cleaning, health monitoring and enclose maintenance. The role includes monitoring the safety of our animals and guests in the drive through reserves, manning the watch towers, delivering keeper talks, animal encounters and presentations dependent on section.
About you
The role requires someone who is confident, motivated and enthusiastic about wildlife conservation and has excellent communication skills. Applicants will have or be working towards an animal related qualification. Previous experience in a zoological collection is desirable, although full training will be given. It is a physically demanding but very rewarding role.
You will need to be observant with excellent attention to detail and be able to keep calm under pressure in a fast paced environment.
Due to driving in animal restricted areas you will hold a full, valid Driving Licence. You will need to be flexible in your approach to work outside of standard business hours, including weekends, bank holidays and some evenings.

West Midland Safari Park is an award-winning visitor attraction, located in Worcestershire in the heart of England.
