Job description
The role of Wilder Learning Intern is intended as an opportunity for recent graduates (or people with equivalent relevant background) to develop the skills and knowledge to deliver wildlife and nature-based programmes to a diverse range of audiences, fostering a deeper association with the natural world and promoting the work of Essex Wildlife Trust. Mentoring and training are provided.
You will work alongside our Wilder Learning colleagues in a dynamic, inclusive, and inspiring environment, and an infectious, driven energy for our work. You will also share the Trust’s passion for wildlife and widening access to nature, and our enthusiasm for working with people of all ages and stages of life, from infants to adults.

We have three internships available commencing September 2023 on a one year fixed-term contract. Each position is a full-time role working 37.5 hours over five days each week.
The positions will be based in either North Essex, South Essex and Mid-Essex. Please indicate in your application which position you would like to be considered for.
North Essex cluster location base: Abbotts Hall
Mid Essex cluster location base: Belfairs
South Essex cluster location base: Bedfords Park.
