Supply Chain Manager
Site Based - Elstree. Permanent, Monday to Friday

About the position: This is a new and exciting opportunity to become our Supply Chain Manager. You will mainly be responsible for;
- Ensuring all date on critical path are met & purchase orders raised correctly
- Sealing sample process
- Quality control
- Maintaining factory audit documentation
- Managing stock levels and forecasting to core customer base
- Liaising with customer to ensure they are kept informed of order status
- Liaising with the Manchester despatch team once deliveries are ready at factory & providing correct documents and instructions for shipments
- Correctly maintaining CRM system with appropriate order status information
- Chasing UK third party suppliers against customer orders
- Negotiating pricing
- Ensure eco/sustainability credentials are met throughout supply chain
You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the success of effectively coordinating the flow of goods and information.
The role includes:
Order processing
- Raising sales orders onto the system, ensuring orders match customers documentation & relevant dates of delivery can be met
- SKUs / Barcodes- ensuring product codes & barcodes are correctly listed onto the system including customer SKUs for reference
- Raising POs for bespoke/non-stock lines/FOB
- Liaising with design team on correct artwork for order for production & sending artwork to be approved (full approval process including amends)
- Co-ordinating with customer on all packaging requirements (barcoding, labelling & polybags)
- Managing pre-production approvals
- Managing customer testing and QC/QA requirements & Factory audits
- Ensuring product labelling adheres to testing requirements
- Managing repeat / call off orders with customers and rebuys. Updating customers on their stock holding to prompt customers for call offs & re-orders with the factory
Product Development & Stock Management
· Critical Path for Far East lines being chased weekly with updates communicated to customers
· Creating product ranges briefed by customers alongside Account Manager
· Wide knowledge of materials and capability of Far East factories to be able to communicate complex product development with customers and specific high expectations and requirements
· Adhering to each individual customers specific sealing process (gold seal/black seal etc) and liaising between factory and customer to ensure changes to product have been made and approved
· Providing customers with up-to-date factory information and annual audits
· Completing customer product spec forms for each product line sold including a full breakdown of materials, composition & proof of eco credentials (certification from China needed)
· Ensuring all stages of critical path is met and timelines adhered to
· Resolving quality control issues which may arise

Ability to prioritise according to value, risk, task size & dependencies
This role will be based at our Elstree offices, this is an office-based role with no remote working from Monday to Friday.
