We are in partnership with a ell established womenswear / girlswear supplier based in west Leicester town centre who are expanding and looking to add two new members to theIr work force of 80 staff. One of these positions is for an experienced wholesale Merchandiser.

DUTIES:
- The role will be to mainly work on the critical path with their factories in Leicester, Pakistan and Morroco to the retailers they work with ( mainly fast young fashion ) .
- Go through the style’s development from the scratch until the customer as approved (fabric sourcing – sampling – lab dips)
- Make sure that time and action plans of the orders are achievable with production.
- Follow up with the suppliers and manufactures to avoid any delays will affect the delivery.
- Make sure that the factories are following all the correct and approved materials and reporting to the customers before shipping and providing solutions if any issue.
MUST HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED
- Recent experience as a wholesale merchandiser with a UK based high street clothing supplier.
- Solid experience of critical path management between retailer and factories (overseas)
- Knowledge of sampling, lap dip, fabric approval
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Team Player
- Able to work unsupervised
- Live commutable to Leicester and be eligible to work in the UK for over 5 years
