Main tasks & responsibilities
- Demonstrating knowledge of global market as the most senior member of the wholesale team
- Leading and mentoring the wholesale team to bring members to their full potential
- Leading planning and budgeting across all markets and categories
- Being the key figure for existing and prospective wholesale key accounts
- Maintaining a strong relationship with key decision-makers (Buying Directors / DMMs / GMMs) on the client side
- Developing and implementing the wholesale sales strategy to deliver on short- and long-term sales goals
- Managing agencies, distributors, and franchise partners to ensure they are achieving set targets and working in line with the brand’s strategies
- Working closely with related departments such as production, fulfillment, merchandising and marketing
- Following market trends and being able to advise to management on collections, pricing, market reactions and competitor activities
- Organizing and conducting pre-market meetings with all majors to review budgets and opportunities
- Leading the set-up and activities on all sale markets and showroom sessions with its team and partner departments
- Driving seasonal sales campaign activity, managing teams to provide outstanding customer service in showrooms in order to achieve sell-in targets
- Organizing and conducting market sales appointments, negotiate favorable terms with accounts to maximize growth, and ensure the highest level of customer service is provided by the team members
- Taking an active part in volume negotiations and key account partnership discussions
- Prepares end-of-season sales report to provide a clear understanding of threats and opportunities
- Liaising with Finance leadership to align on terms and ensure terms are meeting expectations and is in line with policies
- Reporting on sell-in and sell-out performance and making necessary actions to ensure the performance meets expectations of the business and its partners
- Working closely with Group Wholesale Director to identify key markets and build expansion strategies

- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects and budget on target
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and relationship management skills, with the ability to lead both direct reports and cross-functional teams
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present at a high-level
- Experience working cross functionally across wholesale, retail and ecommerce.
- Strong numerical and reporting skills.
