Part of our extended project "Building Resilience & Hope" the successful candidate will join our dynamic team to support women who have experienced Domestic Abuse to build resilience in their mental and physical health.

JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Wellbeing Worker
SCALE: £20,111 (£11.05/hr) + 4% Pension (pro rata)
HOURS: 35 hours per week
TERM: Maternity Cover (with possibility of extension)
RESPONSIBLE TO: Support Service Manager
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:
To support and empower women, and their children, using Women’s Aid services who have experienced domestic/sexual abuse and violence (and other forms of violence against them), to make their own decisions.
To support the ethos, vision & aims of Women’s Aid in supporting and empowering women and children.
To provide a range of wellbeing interventions and support processes and programmes for women who have been living with the impact of domestic/sexual violence and abuse.
Please Note: A Criminal Record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position in Women’s Aid Armagh Down.
