37 hours per week
The role will be responsible for developing opportunities for underrepresented groups such as young people and families known to social care. This work is part of the thriving communities workstream funded by the UK Shared Prosperity fund under the investment priority theme of Communities and Place .The role will support capacity building and infrastructure support for local groups and lead on the developmental work to reduce inequalities in a community setting. The role will include a focus on co-production opportunities and working with communities to create a number of networks. The role will develop sustainable, community-based responses to challenges identified within both the Active Bridgend plan and the Social Service and Wellbeing Act. In line with Council wellbeing objectives and the prevention agenda the role will support a range of partners to develop services and activities that meet the needs of local people to remain independent and to create cost effective services
