The primary focus of the HP Wolf Security team is developing cyber security solutions to protect our customers devices and data. The digital threat landscape is ever-changing and as the cyber security industry reacts and adapts to changes, so too do the malware authors. Our unique micro-virtualization technology ensures that customers are protected from even the most bleeding edge cyber security threats. That micro-virtualization technology forms a key pillar in a wider cyber security suite that we're actively developing.

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our Security Solutions R&D team in Cambridge. You will be working on the Controller - a web-based platform used to manage our security software products that are installed on end-user PCs. We're looking to scale further, while also adding support for new products and enhancing existing features.
The successful candidate will have proven programming experience and is able to work both independently and collaboratively. You will be a crucial part of a small team, so you will have the chance to make a real difference.
Responsibilities for the Software Developer:
Ensure that the management server can scale to millions of clients
Working on the API and UI back-end
Deployment to AWS
Unit tests, Selenium tests, automated installation tests, linters, anything else we can have the CI system (Jenkins) do for us
Requirements for the Software Developer:
Professional experience of coding
Understanding of SQL
Experience of automation
Ability to debug and optimize complex queries
Experience of architecting complex systems
A great Software Developer will have exposure to the following-
Experience of designing web services that scale to very large numbers of clients
Understanding of Cloud computing services (AWS)
Knowledge of web security issues and how to design to avoid them
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
