Job Title: Steel Fixers for Major Project in London

We are currently seeking experienced Steel Fixers to join our team for a major construction project in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on an exciting and high-profile project that will showcase your skills and expertise. To be considered for this position, you must hold a valid blue CSCS card specifically in Steelfixing.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine the required steel reinforcing structures.
• Cut, bend, and tie steel bars or mesh to the required specifications.
• Install and secure steel bars or mesh into concrete structures using various tools and techniques.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in measuring and cutting steel bars or mesh.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations on site.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently.

Requirements:

• Valid blue CSCS card specifically in Steelfixing is essential.
• Proven experience as a Steel Fixer in the construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient in cutting, bending, and tying steel bars or mesh.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety guidelines and procedures.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
