Durateam Global, are working very closely with a leading provider of plumbing and construction solutions and are excited to announce a job opportunity for Commercial and Domestic Pipe Fitters in the Salisbury area. Position: Commercial and Domestic Pipe Fitter
Location: Salisbury area
Responsibilities:
As a Commercial and Domestic Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Install plant rooms in commercial buildings, ensuring proper equipment setup and adherence to safety regulations.
- Execute refurbishment and construction projects for commercial facilities, including plant rooms, heating systems, and bathrooms.
- Service, repair, and maintain oil boilers in residential properties, demonstrating expertise in troubleshooting and adhering to safety protocols.
- Diagnose and resolve breakdowns in domestic heating systems, ensuring efficient and effective repairs.
- Install gas and oil boilers in residential settings, adhering to installation procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Install heating and hot water systems in residential properties, encompassing various types of systems such as central heating and underfloor heating.
- Conduct 1st and 2nd fixing tasks in commercial plumbing, including the installation of pipework, fixtures, and fittings, and connecting them to water supply and drainage systems.
Requirements:To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in installing plant rooms, heating systems, and conducting bathroom upgrades in commercial settings.
- Proficiency in servicing, repairing, and maintaining domestic oil boilers.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving domestic heating system breakdowns.
- Expertise in installing both gas and oil boilers in residential properties, ensuring compliance with installation procedures and regulatory standards.
- Experience in installing various heating and hot water systems in residential properties.
- Proficiency in commercial plumbing 1st and 2nd fixing tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
