Weighbridge Operator

Position/Role
Weighbridge Operator(Margam) to include lab duties
Duties
- Accept deliveries of wood fuel at the Plant, recording all necessary data on the weighbridge booking system in accordance with Eco2 procedures;
- Accept, log and store samples for each wood load;
- Analyse wood samples for moisture content, size distribution and any potential contaminates;
- Enter wood analyse results against each load into the Eco2 IT system;
- Compile samples for issue to external laboratories for detailed chemical analyses
- Assist the transport team in managing day to day enquiries from hauliers.
- Reasonable IT Skills required (training will be provided)
- Flexibility /Team Player
- Role involves a rotating shift pattern covering 7 days per week (excluding night shift working) with some lone working required and two weekends per month;
- Maintaining housekeeping standards in all work areas
- Any other reasonable request from weighbridge supervisor or management team in line with job requirements

- Have the ability to work autonomously but be a team player
- Have the ability to learn processes quickly and with accuracy
- Drive or have transport to the site
- Be comfortable with working shifts
- Take pride in their work
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £24,584.00 per year
