If you have a passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, proven administrative experience and can stay calm under pressure then this could be the job for you.
You will be based at our busy waste transfer station, supporting our trade waste customers and operational teams and it is an exciting time to join us. We are moving to a new site in the Autumn of 2023. Be proficient in the use of computers, (particularly Microsoft Office applications Excel and Word), be confident on the phone and be keen to address customer concerns when they arise. Administrative tasks will include responding to customer complaints by letter or email, processing invoices and purchase orders, checking payments, managing databases and spreadsheets, completing payroll information and other general administrative duties.
You will work closely with our Operational staff and our contractors to resolve issues, but you will need to be able to work on your own and use your own initiative.
This position is based at our operational depots in Bath and Keynsham, but you will need to be willing to travel to any of our depots or council buildings when required.
