Who we are: We are The Cafe in the Park; a welcoming community cafe in Altrincham. The cafe is a part of The Counselling & Family Centre, a local charity that has been at the heart of the community for over 40 years.

Café Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic café assistant to help run our friendly community café in Altrincham, WA15 9RP. If you are looking for a career in hospitality, this role is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge. We are looking for candidates who can help develop the cafe with their ideas.
This is a mainly weekend role However We have potential for available shifts from Friday -Monday.
All Shifts are between 9-5 with between 6 - 7.5 hour shifts.
We would also consider just weekend only applications.
You will be:
Serving customers in a welcoming and polite manner
Making tea and coffee
Preparing and cooking light meals and snacks
Keeping all areas of the café clean and tidy
Experience isn't necessary and training will be provided. Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2) is required and will be included in the successful applicant’s induction if needed.
Although you will be working with another member of staff or a volunteer most of the time, there will be times when you may be working on your own so a calm and confident manner is essential.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12-27 per week
Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour
