Job description
The Director of Communications and Engagement will protect, promote and build the reputation of the University by leading the University’s communications, engagement and institutional events activities, supporting the delivery of the institutional strategy, delivering philanthropic income and alumni engagement and managing the Vice-Chancellor's office. The post-holder will be a key member of the senior management team and will work collaboratively to deliver against the University’s strategy and engage core audiences in the mission of St George’s.
Key attributes of the successful applicant include:
- Successful track record demonstrating achievements in strategic communications
- Proven track record of developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies and meeting income targets across a variety of income streams
- Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing strategy and associated action plans
- Ability to communicate persuasively with people from a range of backgrounds
