WEST COAST DUTY FREE is a small thriving business in Surrey BC. Come join our team in the travel retail business. A full-time cashier is required for our business. We are looking for a team member who is friendly, energetic and a self-starter. Must be 19 yrs old and have transportation, as there is no transit in this area.
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately handling cash transactions, and keeping the store neat and organized. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a retail setting, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and answer their questions in a friendly manner.
- Scan items and collect payments.
- Provide change and issue receipts.
- Organize the checkout area.
- Balance the cash register at the end of the shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all safety and security protocols.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.65-$20.12 per hour
