Wedding Co-ordinator at a very unique and brand new Wedding Venue

Royle Forest Weddings is a brand new wedding venue that has officially taken off, this is a very exciting opportunity to join our small team and to be involved with a new concept of wedding venue in its early days. Opening in June 2022, Royle Forest has had a rapid stream of bookings and can now offer long term security to the right individual.
Royle Forest Wedding is based in a forest on a beautiful 200 acre farm with stunning accommodation, and other farm interests still active.
This is a fun, busy job and the right candidates will not be afraid of getting stuck in and helping the team with anything that is needed to get everything ready in time for the wedding. The role will naturally be busier from April to October through our wedding season with the benefit of flexible time in the off season which is more admin based planning for the next season.
Flexible hours are on offer with overtime every now and then.
As the official start of the Royle Forest Wedding office team you can have a big impact to this wedding venue working closely alongside the owners on all aspects, we are looking for candidates who are as passionate about growing and improving this venue as we are. We have big plans for Royle Forest!
Duties will include:
- Respond to all wedding enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Successfully chasing and converting enquiries into sales
- Conducting initial venue tours with prospective couples
- Assisting with the planning of all weddings
- Deliver high standards of service to clients and couples, by being friendly, warm and approachable helping to build an excellent rapport and trust
- Day to day assistance with booked couples and their enquiries via whatsapp
- Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events and ensure all information is compiled onto the function sheets, ensuring attention to detail is maintained
- Work with the on the day team to ensure the details of the events are clearly communicated, answering any questions to ensure smooth delivery of the event in line with the clients expectations
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Previous event sales or planning experience required, preferably within the weddings industry and excellent customer service skills.
- Good communication skills
- An excellent standard of Numeracy and Literacy
- Although training will be included you will be expected to be IT Savvy
- Confident and friendly individual
- High Levels of attention to detail
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-24 per week
Salary: £13,000.00-£17,000.00 per year
