Job description

We’re looking for a developer to join our digital team, working to create and maintain market-leading websites and bespoke booking journeys for a range of clients in the tourism and attractions industry.


Working as a key part of our development team, the successful candidate will be involved in completing projects to an exceptional standard to provide the best possible results for our clients. The role will require a candidate to work closely with our design and project management teams, building sites and booking flows with the latest technologies and optimising them to work seamlessly with the company’s other product offerings.


As part of this, the successful candidate will be responsible for building responsive sites that provide an outstanding user experience, integrating seamlessly with our online ticketing software to optimise the customer journey all the way through from first contact until post-visit. They will need a passion for innovative development as well as the drive to produce products of the highest possible quality.


Our clients look to us to deliver sites that help to attract new customers, drive increased online ticket sales, and generally improve the customer experience, and your input will be key to achieving that. You’ll be developing websites with a focus on the booking journey, ensuring that customers have a seamless transition from the client website to their ticketing page.


The role will involve a combination of home and office-based working each week to balance convenience with maintaining a strong team dynamic.

  • Prior experience in the web development or software industries
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to work well with a range of individuals at all levels of the company
  • Experience of building back end components using strong OO design methods and patterns.
  • PHP, MySQL& LAMP framework experience
  • Strong knowledge of frameworks such as Laravel, Codeigniter.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of packages with composer.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Docker, Jenkins or similar.
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Experience working with the Vue framework
  • Knowledge of OpenAPI
