One Nation is a UK-based charity supporting those in need locally and nationally, searching for a talented, friendly, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Website Administrator. We are looking for candidates to support our Marketing Manager with website content development.
Job Purpose
You will be working closely with the Marketing Manager to provide specific support on website content development including copywiting, updating blog posts, search engine optimisation and keyword research and URL redirects.
You will receive a full brief of work and daily tasks including maintaining and updating current content on the website to ensure it is relevant to users’ needs.
The role requires the ability to work well as part of a team but also be self-motivated to complete the tasks independently, using your own initiative where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be experienced in developing and updating WordPress websites to deliver engaging and compelling content to the user.
Candidates will be highly organised, able to efficiently multi-task and can communicate effectively in a friendly and courteous manner at all levels and have a keen eye for detail with an ability to complete tasks efficiently to meet challenging deadlines.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, confident and have a flexible approach to work. You should be able to demonstrate good organisational skills including the ability to multi-task, prioritise work under pressure and meet conflicting deadlines. You will be willing to go the extra mile to support a diligent team of like-minded individuals.
Required skills
- Proven WordPress expertise and experience where you have used WP templates and supported functional and technical needs of websites
- Highly proficient in practising digital marketing capabilities including search engine optimisation and keyword research
- Ability to work quickly and accurately to update a library of content
- Excellent IT skills – Spreadsheets, word processing, PowerPoint, email, and data entry
- Excellent work ethic and commitment to delivering high quality work
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and a flare for creativity
- Ability to create engaging content
- Knowledge of e-commerce, email marketing and Internet marketing is advantageous

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for updating a library of historic content onto a new website (including blog posts, news, case studies)
- Proof reading and formatting where required
- Keyword research and implementation
- Search engine optimisation
- Spreadsheet management of website URLs and redirects
- Creation of imagery and icons where required
- Adhoc support to the Marketing Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
