Who we are looking for

As a Sports and Betting News Content Producer, you will be responsible for producing engaging, entertaining and informative multimedia content across our Sports and Betting News website.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for a variety of sports, as well as previous experience of working in a similar writing and production environment.

Keeping ahead of the sporting calendar will be a vital part of the role, making sure that a variety of sports and events are covered in line with relevant betting markets and Company objectives.

You will directly report to the Sports and Betting News Manager, whilst working closely with the Sports and Betting News Deputy Manager and Sports and Betting News Senior Content Producers.

Preferred skills and experience

Good attention to detail with an excellent standard and knowledge of both written and verbal English language.
Understanding of SEO to maximise our audience engagement.
Keen interest in a variety of sports with a sound understanding of betting.
Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and motivation skills.
Excellent organisational and planning skills.
Degree or similar discipline in Journalism or Communications is preferable.
Understanding of Media law and image restrictions is desirable.
Ability to produce outstanding content that represents our Company brand.

Main Responsibilities

Producing engaging, entertaining and informative content across a variety of sports that is relevant to betting markets and our customers.
Keeping up to date and ahead of the sporting calendar across all genres and fields with an understanding of how to apply this within the context of the betting industry.
Responding to breaking and developing stories.
Meeting with our third party content creators to ensure we are delivering the highest quality of content.
Liaising with Sports and Betting News Senior Content Producers regarding workload, planning and organisation.
Working closely with our Social Media team to maximise our audience engagement, whilst bringing in creative and original content ideas.
Reporting to management on the progress of projects.
