Job description
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Web Developer with proven HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills to the Digital Solutions Team part of Information Services. This technical role will primarily work with the Digital Solutions Manager to create develop the University’s external website, microsites and internal web based systems to meet strategic objectives.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving the current site and ensuring accessibility of the website within the framework of our Content Management System (Terminalfour). You’ll take ownership of the existing front-end code and make changes and improvements based on user needs and best practice.
You'll be the main contact responsible for troubleshooting problems and logging support tickets with our external partners. You’ll also be involved in any new web design projects tasks from initial concepts to completion to produce high quality, accessible user-focused interfaces.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable, however, not essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £31,411.00-£36,386.00 per year
