Web Developer
Team: IT; Ecommerce Team

What does this role contribute to the Company?
With a broad range of existing sites in various languages and portfolio of sites in development Bloc are looking for an innovative, passionate web developer to help deliver our strategy.
This role will ensure our Bloc Blinds websites are continually developing to maximise their effectiveness. You will be a key contributor to the architecture of the end user experience.
What we’ll ask of you in the role:
· Maintain the current websites, including making required improvements in order to improve the user experience
· Development of the existing websites
· Design and develop new sites as requested
· Assist with the Integration of websites into Production and Accounting Systems
· Assist with the Integration between Bloc production system and customers websites.
· Control PPC and SEO on Bloc Retail Websites
· To source ideas and new technologies and practices to ensure that the websites developed are cutting edge
· Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation as required
- Test and document all software prior to handover and, where appropriate, provide training and support for the users
Ideally you will have the follow experience:
· Vb.net / C# primary programming language
· Asp.net webforms development experience
· Ability work independently, identify problems / areas for improvement, define requirements, develop and implement solutions.
· Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
· Working in an agile environment
· A passion for code and a can do attitude!
· HTML5 and CSS3 development experience
· SQL server
· Ecommerce experience.

Salary: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
