At Wintech Modular Projects Ltd we are a family run business with over 50 years experience between the two hands on directors, we specialise in the Design, Build and Installation of Modular and prefabricated buildings in the UK.

Due to recent company growth our successful construction/manufacturing company require a CAD/Project Technician to join our busy team.

Job description

Duties/Key Skills required include-

• Construction knowledge
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and 3D
• Experience in interpreting and creating Architectural layouts, sections and elevations
• Experience in interpreting structural details
• At least five years current industry experience in drafting and design
• Experience of large format printing to scale (A3 to A0)
• Experience of issuing bill of quantities
• Ability to follow and elaborate/create manufacturing drawings and templates
• Understanding of drawing office procedures
• Familiarity with following cutting sheets (non Essential- Industry related skills)
• Ability to visualise 3D Geometry and spaces from a 2D Plan
• Team working skills are essential working alongside structural engineers and architects is part of the day to day job.
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload, and time efficiently
• Some project management or coordinating experience
• Excellent communication skills within the following groups (Clients, Technical Team/Engineers, Masons and Other Subcontractors).
• Knowledge of Building Regulations (or ability to learn quickly)
• Happy to carry out independent research as required
• Flexibility required.
• Comfortable Carrying out Surveys
• Proficient in standard office package

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 22/05/2023
