Web Designer

Iconnect london ltd is a small, fast-growing company in Barking. We are a team of passionate and creative designers and developers who love to build beautiful websites. We’re looking for an individual with a strong portfolio who is also a self-starter, able to work independently, and has a passion for design.

We are looking for someone who is interested in learning how to build great looking websites and applications using modern technologies. This person will be responsible for the design of our website, mobile apps, and other projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing websites, mobile apps, print publications, and other web-based applications.
• Working with clients to design and develop their projects.
• Working with our graphic designer to create graphics for use on the site.
• Working with our web development team to build new features and enhancements.
• Developing new features and enhancements based on user feedback.
• Communicating with our clients via email, phone calls, and in-person meetings.
• Working with our data analyst to analyze data from various sources (Google Analytics, Facebook, etc.)and create reports for clients.
• Communicating with our graphic designer about the overall look of the site.
• Working with our SEO specialist to improve website SEO.
• Developing new features based on user feedback.
• Communicating with our clients via email, phone calls, and in-person meetings.
• Working with our data analyst and other team members to learn about web technology and report design trends so that we can provide the best user experience possible.

Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 1+ years of design experience or equivalent 1+ years of web development experience or equivalent 1+ years of graphic design experience or equivalent Ability to work independently (self-starter) Ability to work well under pressure Ability to work well under deadline Strong communication skills (verbal written) Strong organizational skills (self-starter) Strong problem solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £22,500.00-£23,000.00 per year
