Are you up for the challenge of working in a fast-paced, fast-growing digital design agency? Twentytwo are recruiting a Graphic and User Interface Designer to help support their delivery of design projects for their growing list of clients.

Description

Based in The Midlands, we’re looking for a highly motivated individual to join our expanding team.

We are looking for a Graphic & UI Designer who will be responsible for creating great websites and interfaces for our clients. Primary duties include conceptualising and implementing creative ideas for client websites, as well as creating visual elements that are inline with clients' brand guidelines. The role will include other areas of graphic design, however the primary focus will be web / digital graphics and UI.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent visual design skills and be proficient in industry standard design software such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.

Place of Work

Your main place of work will be the office in Coventry, however there will be occasions where meetings are required at client locations. All hours must be recorded on the timekeeping software used by Twentytwo.

Although we're primarily studio-based, we’re now working more remotely and flexibly as a team, so a hybrid of office and remote working is acceptable.

Skills & Experience

A relevant degree in a related field
Proficiency in design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other UI / visual design tools such as Figma
Adobe After Effects skills and experience is very beneficial as animated web graphics is becoming a core service
Knowledge of HTML and CSS is beneficial
Good understanding of content management systems is beneficial (Wordpress & Shopify)
Good understanding of (SEO) search engine optimisation principles is beneficial
Understanding of responsive web design conventions
Excellent visual design skills
Creative and open to new ideas
Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques
Excellent communication skills

Core Responsibilities

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Using Twentytwo’s internal processes to deliver the best results for clients
Conceptualising creative ideas with clients
Core understanding on user interface and user experience conventions
Testing, improving and evolving UI and UX for clients' web platforms
Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices
Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards (WCAG)
Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are inline with branding for clients
Meeting with clients to discuss requirements and/or project progress
Working with different content management systems
Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps and wireframes
Incorporating functionalities and features into UI
Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure
Work with other web specialists, including web developers and graphic designers
Keep updated on current design trends
Undertake continuing professional development (CPD) activities to keep up to date with new software developments
