Job description
We are currently seeking a full time or part time Shift Supervisor to support the owners in the running of the business. This is an operational role in which you will take a lead in ensuring an efficient and smooth service delivery front of house, maintaining and driving high standards in customer service and staff performance.
As Shift Supervisor, you will deputise for management in their absence, being responsible for opening and closing of the establishment and when designated cashing up, preparing floats and managing change.
The ideal candidate will have experience within the hospitality industry and have experience in the running a busy shift directing a team of waiting staff. In addition to leadership skills, you will have good judgement and decision making ability, excellent communication skills and a passion for service. Candidates must have own transport due to the rural location and be over 18 years old due to the sale of alcohol. The role will require working split shifts 5 days a week including weekends and bank holidays.
Bar & Waiting Staff
We would always like to hear from people interested in bar & waiting positions. We have a combined role both waiting on tables and serving at the bar for those over the age of 18. You will need to be able to deliver excellent customer service, have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team. Must be flexible and willing to go the extra mile. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be given to the right candidates.
Must be 16 or over due to the sale of alcohol. Must have own transport due to location and working hours.
We are currently looking for permanent front of house staff either full or part time.
Sous Chef
A great opportunity for an enthusiastic chef to work in a privately owned country pub. The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar environment, be inspired by fresh ingredients, highly organised, creative and have a passion for cooking.

- Be proficient in Health, Hygiene & Safety Regulations and Systems
- Able to maintain good relations with suppliers and team members.

Salary negotiable
Rota 5 days out of 7 / split shifts including weekends and bank holidays
28 days annual holiday.
