We are excited to be offering a Civil Engineering Apprenticeship position in the Transport Planning and Mobility Solutions team in our London office. You will work towards achieving a Level 6 qualification.

Our Transport Planning and Mobility Solutions team has an enviable reputation in the UK as a result of our extensive portfolio of high-profile projects. Our projects involve working with various major clients in the transport industry, including local authorities, private sector, and government, throughout the UK and Ireland. Your role will involve working with other technical staff including highway engineers, structural engineers, quantity surveyors and environmental specialists.

  • You will be assigned to a range of projects and day to day tasks could include:
  • Designing and engineering traffic management solutions to improve transport networks.
  • Transformational placemaking to reduce the impact of transport on the built and natural environment.
  • Developing solutions to improve walking and cycling provision.
  • Considering solutions that cater for a range of users.
  • Aligning transport schemes to the current policy context (e.g. decarbonisation, sustainability and economic recovery).

Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • 3 A-levels at Grades A to C including Mathematics and Physical Science or their equivalent or will have completed a Level 3 Apprenticeship as a Civil Engineering Technician
  • Interest in transport, analytical/spatial analysis, proactive, attention to detail, team working, Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A flexible and proactive self-starter who’s passionate about developing new skills
  • The ability to adapt and prioritise whilst juggling work and study priorities
  • Enthusiasm and curiosity to apply your skills to solve real-world problems
  • Empathy and listening skills to help you truly understand our clients’ requirements
  • A well-rounded person – have you travelled around the world? Worked in a bar? Been captain of a sports team or volunteered for a charity? Tell us - we’re looking for people with interesting stories and experiences!
  • You must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
