Location: LS19 7AW, Leeds, West Yorkshire
Hours: 38 per week – Monday to Friday - Must be willing to work a variety of shifts to service a 24/7 operation (DAYS/AM/PM/NIGHTS)
Salary: £601.62 per week post full training (shift premiums also applicable dependent on shift pattern worked)
Contract Type: Full time – Permanent

Holiday Allowance: Starting 25 + 8 bank holidays - accruing an additional 5 days over 6 years’ service
About The Role:
To prepare a full wax cluster containing the turbine components ready for moulding process.
Wax Dressing involves:
- Removing excess wax – die lines, sprue,
- Blending joints between pieces of wax
- Pinning wax patterns – inserting a pin into the wax to support a ceramic core
- Dress exposed cores – adding tape, sheet wax, nail polish etc.
Wax Assembly:
- Prepare wax runner and feeders
- Attach runner and feeder parts to build up the full assembly
- Blend all joints and add other items – ceramic bars, bleeders etc
Key Responsibilities:
- To inspect and maintain the quality of wax clusters
- To following written instructions from Planning procedure screen
- To achieve personal and team targets
- Ensure 5s routine is maintained
- Work to Health and Safety instructions relating to the area
The role may include other wax operations within the area such as inspection (visual and x-ray or wall thickness) and some small wax injection.
The role would suit someone who is extremely dexterous with their hands.
Please note this job is on shifts - mornings, afternoons and nights. Shifts are worked on a rotational pattern. All these positions require flexibility and commitment to support shift working which covers a 24/7 manufacturing facility (Monday to Friday)
