WATER MONITORING ENGINEER
Urban Environments Ltd is a rapidly growing Water Hygiene Consultancy and due to their success has several exciting opportunities to join the team in the following areas:
The Midlands, Hertfordshire, Cambridge, Essex, West London, South East London and Kent.
The Water Hygiene Technician will be required visit various properties/buildings to monitor hot and cold water systems therefore a clean FULL UK Driving Licence is essential. Work will be scheduled across a range of properties including social and sheltered housing, hospitals, care homes and public buildings. A knowledge of water hygiene is preferable although full training will be given to the right candidate.
DUTIES INCLUDE
- Temperature taking and monitoring of hot and cold-water systems
- Microbiological samples for analysis
- Cold water tank inspections / surveys
- Carrying our Water Hygiene Risk Assessments
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous water hygiene experience advantageous but not essential as full training given
- Experience in conducting microbiological sampling preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner
- Able to work to own initiative as well as in a team
REQUIREMENTS
- FULL UK Driving licence
- To undergo Enhanced DBS check as part of Company’s terms of employment
Position: Full-time, Permanent (Mon-Fri)
Company Package includes: Company Vehicle (Van), Company Pension Scheme
20 Days Holiday per annum + Bank Holidays + birthday
Starting Salary: £24,000 per Annum (according to experience)

Ability to commute/relocate:
- West London, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Legionella: 1 year (preferred)
- TMV Servicing: 1 year (preferred)

- Driving Licence (required)
