Waste Operative - Daventry

West Northamptonshire Norse represents the highly successful joint venture partnership between Norse Group and Daventry District Council, providing a range of cleaning, grounds maintenance, facilities management and refuse collection services across the district. We partner with several private and public sector clients across the region to deliver award winning services.
One of our key services is waste management, and we are currently looking to recruit a Waste Operative in Daventry.
You will be part of a team delivering waste collection services to commercial and public clients, taking responsibility for:
- Handling containers and loading into the collection vehicle
- Operating the bin-lift mechanism
- Assisting the driver when manoeuvring and reversing the vehicle
- Supporting disposal at waste sites
Position Details:
This is a full-time permanent role offering 40 hours per week Monday – Friday.
Your Experience:
Previous experience working within a waste collection and/or disposal environment would be an advantage, however we are happy to provide training and support to the right individual.
We will be looking for you to demonstrate your ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as maintaining excellent customer service skills.
