Blue Ocean Activities & Team Events have been trading for over 14 years and offer an exciting range of Indoor, Outdoor & Evening Activities for the corporate sector UK wide. We have countless corporate testimonials and over 500+ five star reviews on Tripadvisor for our local activities. We also provide a range of Event Hire Equipment which we are currently expanding upon.

We want to ramp up our marketing efforts for 2023 to increase business and looking for a Digital Marketing / Sales person to come on board who will also benefit from our success.

Unlike most marketing roles there is also an attractive commission based structure where you will directly benefit from any new business that has been secured through your marketing efforts. With this in mind we are looking for a motivated person who likes to achieve results. This will add an expected additional £15k - £25k+ in commission with no cap.

We work in one of the most exciting and fun industries with a fantastic range of services and believe this is an excellent opportunity for the right person to share our passion. We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic personality who has proven achievements in a similar role and industry.

You will be working alongside the marketing manager but expected to work on your own initiative and we welcome any new marketing ideas that you may have. You will have experience in the following digital marketing tasks both directly and working with third party suppliers:

· eMail campaigns (Mailchimp)
· Wordpress
· LinkedIn, Social media
· SEO
· YouTube Video
· Customer database / CRM
· Reporting & Analytics
· Business Development
· Proven experience of working to targets / achievements

This is a work from home position with regular face to face meetings in our Cardiff office, although we do have access to office space if required.

The salary is £28k - £32k (pro rata) initially working 2 days per week (15hrs) but expected to increase based on your results. With the additional commission structure this will take the salary to £43k - £57k+ The contract will initially be on a self employed basis with the potential to become an employed role (if preferred)
