Job description
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Waste Operative to join the team located in Poole, Dorset where they will be working alongside one of our major Clients, Honeywell.
Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to effectively deliver the day-to-day support to site and CBRE team by means of environmental support.
Responsibilities
Removal of the following waste streams from site:
(Internal)
- General Waste Multi Recyclables, White Paper, Cardboard from communal areas, Batteries/Aerosols (bins around site x 3 stations), Food Waste from Kitchen/Canteen.
(External)
- Wood/Pallets, Plastic, Cigarette Ashbins, General Waste, Green Waste
- Joint responsibility for the tidiness / cleanliness of all external areas.
- Full responsibility for the tidiness / cleanliness of the Waste Compound (including green and wood skip) and Quadrant area
- General Weeding, hedge cutting, strimming and leaf removal
- Litter picking
- Road sweeping (using road sweeper)
- Spill kit checks within waste compound area
- Spill response team for waste compound area
- Waste note retrieval (not signatory)
- Drain / Gully Inspections
- Fence/Perimeter inspections
- Eye Wash inspection checks in Hazardous store
- Visual / Bund checks in Hazardous store
- External building inspections
- External grounds inspections
- Complete CBRE inspection paperwork (online)
- CBRE hazard regular reporting (online)
- CBRE E learning (online & external)
- CBRE career progression (online)
- Honeywell Training as required/requested (online / internal).

Additional Requirements
- Weekend & Bank holiday working if required.
- Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.
