Company in Hayward is looking for an experienced forklift operator/order picker/delivery driver. Must be able to pick up, up to 60 lbs consistently throughout the day. Responsibilities Picking, Packing, and staging orders Operating forklift as required Delivering quartz counter top slabs on A-frames Following a route and time schedule Preparing, inspecting and operating the delivery vehicles Requirements Proven working experience as a delivery driver Valid driver's license - NO CDL REQUIRED. Must be 21 years old or older. Excellent organizational and time management skills Good driving record with no traffic violations High school degree or GED Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Overtime Application Question(s): 1. If so, which ones? 9. Can you provide an example of a challenging delivery situation you've faced and how you resolved it? 10. How do you prioritize and organize your daily delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries? 11. In this role, you may need to interact with customers. How do you handle customer inquiries or concerns while on a delivery? 12. Are you comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items? 13. What maintenance and safety checks do you perform on your delivery vehicle before and after each shift? 14. Have you ever had to deal with a difficult or irate customer?
