The Chef’s Kitchen Limited is one of the leading independent producers of Cooking Wines and Vinegars to the wholesale hospitality market. To aid the companies further growth we require an additional Warehouse Operative.
The Role
Working in a small team of a fast paced warehouse, picking stock for orders, pallet stacking and completing relevant paperwork. Racking stock produced and the loading and unloading of transport vehicles will also be tasks involved.
The Person
Must have a flexible approach to work and willingness to follow instructions and standard operating procedures. Have the ability to be involved in all areas of the warehouse operation working as part of the team. Be accountable and dependable for their role within the process whilst maintaining the consistent high standards of the company.
At times the role may require the need for lifting heavy items.
A strong worth ethic is required with interpersonal skills, reliable and a team player.
Previous experience of working in within a warehouse environment is an advantage but not essential.
Food Hygiene Level 2 or above would be an advantage but full training to achieve required levels will be given.
A Fork Truck licence is required and a Powered Pallet Truck licence would also be an advantage.
Monday - Friday
Alternating weekly shifts 0600 - 1500 & 10:00 - 1900
Salary: £11.15 per hour, paid monthly
