The Best Connection Slough are recruiting for a Driver/Warehouse operative for a client based in the Slough area
Our client is looking to recruit a candidate who has a can do attitude and has a real willingness to learn. This role will be like no other warehouse role you have done before.
You could be the next five star candidate our client needs
Monday to Friday - Weekend work will be required.
The Job Role
Drive, collect and deliver goods to sites nationally with the company van provided
Provide support to team members on site where you deliver to, ensuring a high level of customer service.
Start times between 0600 - 0800 with a 1500/1700 finish time (1 hour lunch - 30 minutes PAID, 30 unpaid)
Whilst not out on delivery you will be expected to:
Be responsible for helping in the warehouse. Duties could include for Goods In, Goods Out, Stock Control whilst keeping the site and yard clean.
Support on other tasks as required, such as vehicle pick ups, vehicle maintenance, cleaning/servicing equipment, and checking inventory etc
Ideal candidates will have the following:
Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving and warehouse role
Willingness to get involved, take ownership, and work on your own initiative
Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points)
